#VitaminC #skincare #products! I’ve always been a big fan of #Vitamin C, because it’s one of the ingredients that’s effective and actually has the science to back it up! It’s great as a #brightener (so you’ll find it in tons of #whitening products) and as an #antioxidant, and helps with skin turnover (so you’ll find it in some #antiaging products too). The only downside? It’s quite hard to find products that have effective amounts of Vitamin C, and some forms of Vitamin C (like Ascorbic acid, for example) are notoriously unstable and thus need to be packaged properly (no jars etc). So with that in mind, here are some of my picks that I think are efficacious and properly packaged and easily available on the market!
❶ @kiehlssg Powerful Strength #LineReducing #Concentrate - this has 10.5% Ascorbic acid, and is properly packaged in a dark brown bottle with a pump! IMHO this is one of the too easy-to-get properly package Ascorbic acid #serum products out on the market (and this wasn’t actually sent for review, I actually got it on my own)
❷ #Chamos #Acaci Vita-C #Powder - this is actually pure #ascorbicacid in powder form, and you can either add it to distilled water for a vitamin c serum or add it to your moisturizer. I like that I can control how much I use and the powder ensures that the Ascorbic acid won’t oxidize before I even use it!
❸ @beautydirectsg #Juju #Aquamoist Whitening C #serum - has Ascorbyl Glucoside, a stable form of Vitamin C, as one of the top 5 ingredients
❹ #beautydirectsg Juju Aquamoist Whitening C Cream - this has Ascorbyl Glucoside, which although isn’t as effective as straight up Ascorbic acid, is stable when in a jar. #clozette #beauty
